Srinagar, March 11 (KNS) : The All Jammu & Kashmir Shia Association (AJKSA) organized a Majlis-e-Aza at Imam Bargah Zadibal, Srinagar, in remembrance of the martyrdom of Amir-ul-Momineen Imam Ali (AS).
The gathering was attended by AJKSA President Molvi Imran Ansari, General Secretary Abid Ansari, and Vice President Irfan Ansari along with a large number of devotees.
The Majlis began at 6:00 AM with the recitation of Marsiya, where several Zakireen-e-Imam Hussain (AS) recited elegies highlighting the virtues, sacrifices, and life of Imam Ali (AS).
Addressing the gathering, AJKSA President Molvi Imran Ansari spoke about the martyrdom of Shaheed Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei (RA) and paid rich tributes to the martyrs of the Islamic Republic of Iran. He recited Fatiha for the departed souls and prayed for the strength, stability, and victory of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the face of ongoing challenges.
Molvi Imran Ansari also spoke about the newly appointed Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, praying for his good health, wisdom, and success in continuing the path of Wilayat and justice.
During his address, he also appealed to the Jammu & Kashmir Police to release the remaining youth who were recently detained.

Molvi Imran Ansari further elaborated on the life and legacy of Imam Ali (AS), describing him as the embodiment of justice, courage, humility, and devotion. He highlighted Imam Ali’s (AS) role as the closest companion of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), his unmatched bravery in defending Islam, and his governance based on justice and compassion.
He also spoke about the tragic martyrdom of Imam Ali (AS), who was struck while offering prayers in the mosque of Kufa during the holy month of Ramadan. The martyrdom of Imam Ali (AS), he said, remains one of the most painful events in Islamic history and continues to inspire believers to stand firmly for truth, justice, and righteousness.
The program concluded with the Shabih-e-Janazah procession of Imam Ali (AS), which was taken out with deep reverence and mourning by the participants.
The Majlis ended with collective prayers for peace, unity, and justice for the Muslim Ummah. (KNS)
