Budgam, Aug 13 (KNS): Chairman Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) and MLA, Khansaheb, Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen has said that road connectivity and up gradation in various areas of Khansaheb Constituency has been fast tracked adding that up-gradation of Shamas Abad-Krishipora –Falchal road including its macademization will be completed within two months. This ambitious road project is being constructed at a cost of Rs.4.25 crore under PMGSY.
Reviewing the pace of progress on construction of various road projects in Khansaheb Constituency, with the concerned engineers, Hakeem Yaseen said that Dablipora –Hariwatna-Zabgloo to Nandpora Wargam road would also be completed during the current year at an estimated cost of Rs.3 crores. He said NABARD has already released required funds for construction of this vital road project. He asked the concerned engineers to fast track construction and up gradation of various road projects in different areas of the constituency, keeping in view the limited working season in the Kashmir division. He also urged for completing the up gradation work of the ongoing Waterpora-Lolipora-Sochlipathri, Lassipora-Sitharan and Ringzabal- Lassipora road projects during the current year adding that funds for this PMGSY scheme have already been earmarked by the planning department.
Hakeem Yaseen said since road connectivity forms the basis for socio-economic transformation, the engineers should prepare DPR’s for new road projects for all such areas which are not connected with road network as yet so that no habitation in Khansaheb constituency is left without road linkage.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“Since road connectivity was pivotal for socio- economic transformation, I have accorded highest priority to construction of road network in nook and corner of my constituency,” Hakeen Yaseen said adding that Krimshora-Dreegam-Arampora-Lanora–Banderpora upto Arigam important road project is in pipeline. He said that DPR for a major bridge at Kamroo- Chell at a cost of Rs.17 cr. under Central Road Fund (CRF) scheme has been sent for approval.
He said that DPR for construction and up gradation of Khansaheb-Shanipora-Kalshipora- Sonapah road has been prepared and submitted to Central Government for approval l adding that work on Raithan-Watred upto Neego road project will be started shortly at a cost of Rs.3 crore under NABARD.
Earlier, Hakeem Yaseen held Public Durbar at Khansaheb and listened to the grievances and demands of the people, who had come from various areas of the constituency. He assured the people that all the promises made to people of my constituency would be fulfilled to their best satisfaction. He expressed optimism that his cherished dream to make Khansaheb a modern and developed constituency would come true with the support and cooperation of the people. (KNS)
