Srinagar, May 14 (KNS): A local court Saturday heard two cases of Muslim League Chairman Masarat Alam and scheduled the next hearings in the last week of this month and one in June.
Muhammad Rafiq Ganie, General Secretary of the Muslim League told KNS that the ML chairman was produced before First additional Sessions judge and Passenger Tax court for two cases.
“After hearing both the lawyers, prosecution and defense counsel, the courts scheduled the next hearings on 28th of this month, and June 4 this year,” Ganie said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said that Alam’s three Public Safety Acts were quashed by the high court, “but despite that he is still in jail”.
“It is pure political vendetta from the government and disrespecting the court rulings,” he said. (KNS)
