Srinagar, May 17 (KNS): Chief of Al-Umar, a militant outfit, Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar while paying tributes to Mirwaiz Molvi Farooq and Abdul Gani Lone on their anniversaries Tuesday called for Valley wide Shutdown on May 21.
Zargar in a tele-statement issued to KNS said that remembering these martyrs refreshes the pro-freedom spirit. “It strengthens our relation with martyrs. The path of freedom struggle is always filled with hardships,” he said.
“People of Kashmir are obliged to the precious sacrifices of these martyrs,” Zargar said, adding that “World cannot turn away its eyes from Kashmir issue, which should be resolved according to the aspirations of people.”
Zargar said that they will support all the programmes of Awami Action Committee (AAC) led by Mirwaiz Molvi Umar Farooq.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said that they won’t allow separate colonies for Kashmiri Pandits in Kashmir. “The government’s plan to settle Kashmir Pandits in separate colonies will be dealt with strong action,” he said, adding that, “It was Jagmohan who created block between Kashmiri Muslims and KP’s. Scores of KPs are still living in Kashmir and they were never threatened and harmed by any organization. And we will always guard them in future. But we won’t allow those who left the Valley in the request of Jagmohan,” he said.
“Jagmohan’s plan was to kill Kashmir Muslims due to which he requested Kashmiri Pandits to leave Kashmir. But we won’t let any outside living Pandits to come back,” Zargar said. (KNS)
