Poonch, August 05 (KNS): Expressing anguish over the callous attitude of PDP-BJP Government towards border dwellers in the wake of continued shelling on the Line of Control, Provincial Youth National Conference President Mr Ajaz Jan on Wednesday said the administration has miserably failed to cope up the situation and coming to the rescue of the victims.
He expressed concern over the miseries being inflicted on the border people and said the administration showed high degree of insensitivity by not even making the arrangements for shifting two civilians, including a young girl child, to hospital for treatment.
“But for the timely help rendered by the Army, the victims would have been left to suffer by this insensitive and ineffective government”, he said, adding that the coalition stands exposed for being lackadaisical towards the problems of the people.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe expressed sympathy with the victims and prayed for their speedy recovery while urging the administration that any slackness in meeting the situation will be resented forcefully.
Mr Jan, former MLA from Poonch, expressed solidarity with the suffering people and sought compensation for the shelling victims and losses caused to crops in the wake of people abandoning their land-holdings due to intermittent firing.
