Srinagar, Oct 30:(KNS) Chief Spokesperson of Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) Inam Un Nabi has urged the J&K administration to immediately post an SDM in Karnah, saying the area faces pre-winter isolation due to frequent road closures and heavy snowfall. He said the absence of an SDM disrupts public services, revenue work, and emergency response, leaving residents helpless during harsh weather.
According to Correspondent ,Inam Un Nabi stressed that posting an SDM is a people-centric necessity, not an administrative formality. He said Karnah’s unique geography demands proactive governance, urging the Lieutenant Governor and Chief Minister to act swiftly to ensure uninterrupted public service and government presence before the area gets cut off in winter.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Meanwhile, civil society members of Karnah have also demanded the immediate posting of an SDM, saying the administrative vacuum has severely affected public grievances and essential services in the region. They appealed to the authorities to fill the vacant post without further delay to avoid hardships during the upcoming winter months.(KNS)
