AIP’s sit-in seeking IIT, IIM and IIMC for Kashmir continued for the second consecutive day today with people from all walks of life joining the sit-in and expressing solidarity with the cause.
The 50-hour sit-in that started yesterday continued uninterrupted throughout the night with hundreds of people joining the sit-in today. As the sit-in entered second day today various trade organizations, lawyers, prominent citizens, student leaders, social activists, civil society members joined the sit-in and expressed their solidarity with the cause and promised to evolve a joint strategy to get IIT, IIM and IIMC for Kashmir.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Speaking on the occasion Batamaloo Traders Association President Reyaz-ul-Islam said that we all will get united to end discrimination with Kashmiris and all political and non-political parties need to have a united stand over very basic issues.
Deputations from Shopian, Pulwama and Budgam districts also joined the protest and expressed their solidarity to the cause. It is worth mention that the participants spend whole night in front of Civil Secretariat and continued peaceful sit-in throughout the night.
Rashid thanked people from various walks of life for showing solidarity with the noble cause.
