Kupwara September 10:(KNS)  Awami Ittihaad Party (AIP) delegation led by Senior Leader Nazir Ahmad War meets MoS Defence and tourism this afternoon at Kupwara. Delegation stressed upon the early release of incarcerated AIP Supremo.
According to a statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Minister was acknowledged that Party was formed in the year 2012 to provide a political platform to the new aspirants of politics especially youth and to provide an alternative to traditional political parties. The party is aimed to be provided a political space at with the other political mainstream parties in the state. The delegation unanimously demands the overall development, employment opportunities for all sections of the society in the UT. AIP has been the pioneer in the UT to state outdoor campaigning for our candidates in panchayat, parliament and DDC elections and scored a good and considerable amount of votes percentage in the all three elections.   The party will appreciate and support any move by the central government for betterment of the people. We demand a special job package for our unemployed youth be announced very soon as the region has faced lot economic problems due to the unfortunate circumstances. Delegation also demanded specialised health facilities at district level and four lane road connectivity to all district headquarters. Promotion of tourism in unexplored destinations can boost the economy of the region delegation stated. Party demand the equal political opportunities as a political party which is for uphold of democratic institutions. Delegation presented a memorandum to the minister.(KNS)
