Srinagar July 12 :(KNS)  Awami Ithad Party (AIP) on Sunday held an important meeting of core group members and Constituency heads at Srinagar. The meeting was presided over by  party General Secretary P Parvez Shah 
During the meeting all the participants presented their views with regard to the working & charting out the future strategies. 

According to a statement issued to KNS, P Parvaiz Shah, said that the sole aim of meeting was to discuss the future political activities and strategy. 
“Since the party founder is incarcerated, it has become difficult for the party to chart out the strategy and but at the same time, the party is spread across Jammu and Kashmir, and it cannot leave ground open to opponents and people on the mercy of these opportunistic parties,” he said.

P Parvaiz said that in coming days the party will meet again to frame a youth body in order to accelerate the youth outreach programmes. 

During the meeting it was also unanimously decided that Firdous Ahmad Baba will hold the charge of the post of party spokesperson, DDC Tujar Sopore will be in charge for North Kashmir and Bilal Ahmad has been nominated as Constituency head Pattan

In the meeting, the party spokesman Firdous Baba stressed over a major reach out to people and not let them feel alienated. It was also decided that a committee shall be framed to tackle the process of coming elections. “The party will do every possible thing to assist people on every political front,” statement reads.

Senior leader, Showket Zargar, stressed over party leaders to meet the expectations of the people by doing representations’ of their daily life issues.

The senior party leaders, comprising, Showket Zargar, Nazir Ah Moon , Ishtiyaq Qadri, Parvaiz Jamal, Adv Ubaid Shamus, Showket Hussain Pandit, Iqbal Nabi, Aijaz Ah, Mudasir Ah, Showket Khan, Zameer Ah,  urged the central government to release the party supremo Er Rashid.(KNS)
