AICC Covid Task Force holds virtual meeting With JKPCC President G.A Mir

Srinagar June 2 (KNS): All India Congress Committee (AICC) Covid Task Force on Wednesday held a virtual meeting, in which PCC Presidents and CLP Leaders took part and threadbare discussed the current covid crisis across the Country.

According to a statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), AICC Covid Task head by Former LOP and Chairman of the Committee Ghulam Nabi Azad, Senior Party Leaders Ambika Soni, KC Venugopal, Priyanka Gandhi, Pawan Kumar Bansal, Jairam Ramesh held a virtual meeting with JKPCC President Ghulam Ahmad Mir on the current covid situation and other issues concerning people in J&K.

Threadbare discussions were held over the Covid situation in J&K, besides many other issues of public importance that also came under discussion in the virtual meeting.

JKPCC President briefed AICC Covid Task Force about the relief measure being undertaken by the JKPCC to ensure help to Covid patients and other needy people, who were facing hardships due to the surge in Covid Cases.

JKPCC President told the AICC Covid Task Force that there was a need to ensure free vaccination of all age groups in a timebound manner in J&K to ensure that there was no further loss of precious life, besides other immediate relief measures should be taken by the Govt to ensure respite to common people, who were confronted with poverty due to lockdown.
