Srinagar, Jul 19 (KNS): National Conference (NC) on Friday organised a meeting at Zewan area of Srinagar in Sonwar assembly constituency which was president over by party’s youth wing’s provincial vice president Ahsan Pardesi.

In the meeting, scores of workers mainly from different parties joined the party fold, a statement issued to KNS reads.

Provincial Vice President Kashmir Youth National Conference, Ahsan welcomed them in the party fold with the hope that they will work for the betterment of the party and serve the people.

On the occasion, deliberations were also held on current political issues of the State.

Ahsan in his speech held PDP squarely responsible for the mess in the state. He also held BJP responsible for delaying assembly elections and keeping people away from democratic set up.

Ahsan Pardesi said the only agenda for keeping people at distance is to take them to task. He said the former MLA of PDP did absolutely nothing for the Sonwar constituency. “Sonwar constituency saw previous five years as the darkest period,” he said.

He urged people to rise up to the occasion and give befitting reply to BJP and PDP for the miseries they have bought to people. (KNS)
