AGS Hajinar Wins Hindi Olympiad 2026 Grand Finale

 Tangdar, June 19 (KNS): Army Goodwill School (AGS) Hajinar emerged victorious at the Grand Finale of the Hindi Olympiad 2026, organised by the Wadij Hindi Sansthan to promote the Hindi language among students in the Kashmir Valley.

 
The finale, held at AGS Hajinar, witnessed the participation of over 300 students from various schools across the Tangdhar sub-division. The event was graced by Chief Guests Mrs Sheela Yadav, Chairperson of the Family Welfare Organisation (FWO) and Shakti Vijay Brigade, and Mrs Nutan Suse, wife of the Deputy Commissioner of Kupwara.
 
According to official organisers, the Olympiad was coordinated by Mrs Nasreen Ali and Rayees Ahmad. Students who excelled in the written and preliminary rounds were awarded certificates and prizes during the ceremony.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
 
AGS Hajinar clinched the first position, while AGS Trehgam secured the second spot, officials said.
 
The programme also featured cultural performances by students from AGS Hajinar, AGS Teetwal, and AGS Trehgam. Local officers and guests were felicitated for their contributions towards educational and cultural initiatives in the Karnah region.
 
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, reaffirming the commitment to fostering academic excellence and linguistic heritage among the youth, the organisers added. (KNS)
