Govt to work out roadmap within a month to meet their demands: Drabu

Srinagar, Oct 27 (KNS): The National Youth Corps Tuesday called off their strike after 57 days following “assurance” by the government to consider their demand of absorbing them in different departments.
Rayees Ahmad, an NYC youth told KNS that today afternoon Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu visited them at Partap Park, the venue where they have been protesting, and appealed them to call off the strike.
“The finance minister assured us that the government will absorb us in different departments.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelOur documentation process is going on and it will take two months to complete. In the next budget session, the government will announce the same,” Ahmad said.
Confirming his visit to protesting NYC, Drabu told KNS that the government will work out a roadmap within a month to meet the demands of the protesting NYC youth. (KNS)
