Shopian, Dec 21 (KNS) Scores of Anganwadi workers on Wednesday pprotested at the Children's Park in Shopian district, demanding roll back of decision by LG administration
Reports reaching Kashmir News Service (KNS) said the protesting workers demanded roll back of decision issued by LG administration.
The protestors said they do not mind that they have to retire, but they left their families and served the government all their lives.
“Some of us are widows, how can they run their affairs if there is no pension. We demand the decisions be rolled back,” they said.
They also threatened that if their demands were not fulfilled, they launch a massive agitation. (KNS)
