Srinagar, Nov 13 (KNS): Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi attended 14 All India Conference on China studies. The Conference was organised by Institute of Chinese Studies (ICS), New Delhi, Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan, and Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung (Germany’s Political Think Tank) India Office from 11 to 13 November 2021.

This Academic Conference is the flagship event of the ICS, convened annually every December, with the principal objective of spreading interest in and strengthening research on China and East Asian Studis.

Those who participated in this Conference along Aga Muntazir included Shivshankar Menon (Visiting Professor of International Relations, Ashoka University, Sonipat; Chairman, Advisory Board, Institute of Chinese Studies, New Delhi.) Gautam Bambawale(Former High Commissioner of India in Islamabad), Peter Rimmele( Resident Representative to India, Konrad Adenauer Foundation ) Frank Pieke(Professor of Modern China Studies, Leiden University), Biao Xiang(Director, Max Planck Institute of Social Anthropology, Halle) Cody Abbey(Project Mangaer, Stanford China Centre on China’s Economy and Institutions, Stanford University) and other research scholars and intellectuals.
