Srinagar Sep 15 (KNS): Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi has expressed grave concern over the rising Over Dog Menac in the Budgam and its adjacent villages.
In a statement issued today, the Aga Muntazir termed the incident “deeply disturbing” and said that menace has become threat to the safety and well-being of people in the area. “Public safety cannot be compromised. The incidents of stray dogs attacking innocent people, particularly children, have created a sense of fear and insecurity in Budgam town and adjacent villages.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThis needs urgent and coordinated action from the administration,” the Aga said.
In his letter to DC Budgam he him to address the menace. He stressed that piecemeal measures are no longer enough and that a sustained, scientific approach is needed to control the growing stray dog population.(KNS)
