Aga Syed Hassan Mousvi Safvi Condemns U.S., Israeli Aggression on Iran

Srinagar, March 18 (KNS) ;In a resolute and compelling address today, Aga Syed Hassan Mousvi Safvi condemned the ongoing military strikes on Iran, directly calling out the United States and the Israeli regime for violations of international law and the ethical conduct of warfare. Safvi highlighted that these attacks targeted civilians, including children, at a time when formal diplomatic dialogue was still in progress—a flagrant affront to both international norms and basic human morality.

“Attacking schools, striking unarmed civilians, and murdering children is not merely reprehensible—it is a direct violation of the Geneva Conventions and every principle that governs humane warfare,” Safvi said. Quoting the Qur’an, he stressed: “Whoever kills a soul… it is as if he had slain mankind entirely” (Al-Maidah 5:32).

He also paid tribute to the martyrdom of Syed Ali Larijani, a steadfast leader whose life embodied justice, resistance, and advocacy for the oppressed. “How can Muslim nations remain silent when the Supreme Leader of a Muslim country has been martyred? How can they fail to mourn the innocent children bombarded by imperial and Zionist forces?” he asked, framing the attacks as both a moral outrage and a test of historical responsibility.

Safvi sharply criticized former U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stating that their policies deliberately target civilians to destabilize regions under the pretext of security—a strategy that violates international humanitarian law and undermines diplomatic processes.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe noted that Iran remains virtually alone in consistently defending the oppressed, even as the broader Muslim Ummah continues to fragment at a time when unity has never been more crucial.

“The ongoing aggression lays bare the ultimate vulnerability of Muslim nations if they fail to act together,” Safvi warned. “This is not merely a political or military question—it is a defining moral moment for the Ummah. The Qur’an commands: ‘And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided…’ (Al-‘Imran 3:103). We cannot afford disunity when our people are being massacred, our leaders martyred, and our values trampled. The strength, dignity, and survival of the Muslim world hinge on unity now more than ever.”

He concluded with a call to immediate, decisive solidarity, urging Muslim nations to unite politically, morally, and spiritually. “It is no longer enough to speak in rhetoric,” he said. “The Ummah must stand together to defend civilians, uphold the ethics of war, and confront aggression with a unified front. Our collective action now will determine whether Islam’s moral and political authority survives or is permanently weakened.” (KNS)
