Srinagar, Jul 11 (KNS): Senior Hurriyat leader and president Anjuman Shari Shian Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi Monday while condemning the killing spree the in the Valley appealed international community to take note of these gruesome killings
“The international community should take exception to the actions by the Indian forces targeting the civilians above abdomen as is evidenced in the cases of those killed and those who have suffered injuries,” he said in a statement issued to KNS and demanded that that all possible steps be taken to provide specialized medical treatment to the injured persons.
“It is highly condemnable that youth are being targeted and killed by forces in Kashmir.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe government has failed to reign in forces. “More than 30 persons have been killed in various parts of the Valley while hundreds have been injured,” he said adding that “there is no accountability on forces who are pumping bullets with impunity on the protestors.”
He added that there are other ways of crowd dispersal. “But government forces are hitting people above the waistline which clearly points the motive of the forces,” he added.
Aga also condemned the house arrest of Hurriyat leaders and demanded their immediate release. (KNS)
