Bandipora, August 12 (KNS): Majlis-e-Hussaini (A.S) was held in Nowgam Sonwari area of Bandipora district, where President J&K Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian, founding member Muthida Majlis Ulema and founding chairman Anjuman Interfaith Dialogue Chapter, Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi, paid homage to the martyrs of Karbala, stating that the sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) proved that truth always prevails and people should draw inspiration from his example.

Addressing the mourners, Aga Hassan said that the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) is an event that reflects the immense sacrifices made by the martyrs of Karbala to uphold the spirit of Islam. “The great epic of Ashura holds countless messages and lessons that influence political, social, and individual life.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelIt played a significant role in inspiring sacrifices and promoting altruism,” he said.

On the occasion, Aga Syed Hassan expressed solidarity with the people of Ladakh who are currently on hunger strike. “We strongly endorse the demands put forth by the people of Ladakh region, as the people of Kashmir deeply resonate with their aspirations. It is imperative for New Delhi to heed their voices and address their political grievances promptly,” he said.

Later, an Alam Sharief procession was carried out in which thousands of Azadars participated and paid tributes to the martyrs of Karbala.(KNS)
