Budgam, Jul 21 (KNS): A Hussaini (AS) conference was organized by Anjuman Shari Shian at Mosvi Park Inderkoot Sumbal here in Bandipora district. Thousands of people participated in the conference, however, in wake of UN March called by Joint Resistance Leadership, authorities placed senior separatist leader Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi under house arrest and barred him from participating in the conference. The action of the government was condemned by Anjuman Shari Shian.
“Depriving people of their religious duties and barring them from offering mandatory Friday congregational prayers shows the imperialistic mindset of authorities,” the organization in a statement said.
While condemning the house arrest of Aga Syed Hasan, the spokesperson said that such ‘oppressive tactics’ can’t break the resolve of the people.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“India can’t mislead the international community as it has got exposed now. Stopping religious and separatist leader from leading Friday prayers amount to religious interference,” the spokesperson said.
Meanwhile, Aga Syed Hasan condemned the killing of a youth in Beerwah Budgam in Army firing. He said it has become a norm for Army to shoot to kill innocent youth.
He said that India has been resorting to genocide of Kashmiri people here. “This barbarism and atrocious character of India State is unacceptable. UN and other world bodies must come forward and condemn the inhuman approach of India,” Aga Hasan said. (KNS)
