‘India using ruthless tactics to trample down rights of Kashmiris’

Budgam, Sep 05 (KNS): Police Monday foiled the Khanpora Budgam pro-freedom rally and barred senior separatist leader and president Anjuman Shari Shian Aga Syed Hasan from participating it.
Aga Hasan was scheduled to address the said rally that was sponsored by his party. Police sealed all the roads leadings towards Khanpora Budgam and stopped people from proceeding towards the venue.
Aga Syed Hasan while condemning the police action said that India has been employing ruthless tactics to trample down the rights and sentiments of Kashmiri people. While terming the visit of All Party Delegation to Kashmir as ‘meaningless and futile exercise’ Aga Hasan said that Government of India is befooling people by one way or another.
“Until Government of India won’t talk to separatist leadership, the solution of Kashmir issue is distant dream,” he said and added that Kashmir dispute is acknowledged by whole international community.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe said that the meeting between mainstream political parties and the delegation won’t bear any fruit.
‘India must come out from shell and accept Kashmir is a dispute. Under the ambit of Indian constitution any dialogue on the subject will be meaningless,” he said. He said it has become a “ritual” for New Delhi to send a team to Kashmir “every time human rights abuses scale new heights.”
“This time, Kashmir is facing the worst-ever humanitarian crisis; at least 74 have been killed, hundreds blinded, over 12,000 wounded and equally huge number of people jailed. From jailing students to employees’ leaders to Muslim leaders in Chenab Valley, the government has been setting new records on rights abuses, and none from government ever even bothered to condemn the atrocities,” he said.
