Srinagar, Mar 21 (KNS): After remaining suspended for the four consecutive, the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway connecting Valley with rest of the county was Monday restored for one-way traffic, an official said.
An official told KNS that traffic was thrown open for one-way after the BRO cleared the debris on roads, adding, “The traffic will remain suspended for heavy motor vehicles while the light motor vehicles will be allowed to ply from Jammu-Srinagar.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
The Srinagar-Jammu national highway remained suspended for four consecutive days due to the landslides at various places triggered by heavy rainfall from past five days.
“The Valley is facing acute shortage of eatables including mutton and poultry products due to the closure of national highway from past four days,” reports said. (KNS)
