Sopore, May 09 (KNS): After Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel undertook repairs on a dilapidated stretch of vital Sopore-Kupwara bypass road to ensure smooth vehicular movement, Beacon authorities on Monday woke up and started repairing the road stretch.

An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS), Beacon today started repairing the road stretch after cops from Amargrah Police Station yesterday filled up potholes on the busy bypass to avoid accidents.

Notably, netizens after seeing cops repairing the road stretch praised them for going out of their way to help others.

"When the concerned department was not doing the work properly others have to pitch in. Sometimes their work does not involve use of their law enforcement powers as they go an extra mile to serve the public," wrote a social media user. (KNS)
