Srinagar, Dec 28 (KNS): After remaining under detention for four months, the authorities on Wednesday released senior Hurriyat (M) leader and Awami Action Committee (AAC) member, Ghulam Nabi Zaki.
Sources said that the Zaki who was detained four months ago was languishing at Kot Balwal jail in Jammu was today released.

The High court recently quashed his detention and had directed the police to release him.
Sources said that Zaki was today shifted to Police Station Sopore from Kot Bolwal jail where from he was released.
Meanwhile, Hurriyat (M) Media advisor, Shahid-ul-Islam confirmed the release of Zaki and said that the party chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq welcomed his release. (KNS)
