Srinagar, Feb 26 (KNS): Administrative officer of Directorate State Motor Garages Kashmir Mohammed Munawar Khwaja on Friday was accorded adieu on his superannuation.

Khwaja who hails from Kralgund Qaziabad of north Kashmis Kupwara served the Government of Jammu and Kashmir for 40-years in different capacities. He held the several key positions including in the District Developmemt Commissioner Kupwara, in 1980 as Department of Horticulture, administrative officer in J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Department of Information and Public Relation, Office of the Advocate General and lastly was posted as Director SMG Kashmir.

On his retirement, several officers bid adieu to him and lauded his contribution in the department. (KNS)
