Srinagar July 05 (KNS): Additional Director General of Police Vijay Kumar on Wednesday visited several districts of south Kashmir where he held meetings with several officials of police and other security agencies over security scenario.

Reports said that Kumar visited district of Shopian and Pulwama and held meetings with DIGSouth Kashmir, both SSsP, all three Cos of CRPF and other officers and extolled them to work upon eradication of the remnants of terrorism.

ADGP directed the concerned to synergise their efforts to conduct precision-based operations with special teams & introduce innovative & handpicked mechanisms to ensure the neutralization of terrorists.

An adumbrated overview of the districts was taken and guidelines issued to specific officers for target oriented outcomes. (KNS)
