KUPWARA, JULY 19 (KNS): The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the preparation for Independence Day celebrations, 2022.

The meeting discussed various preparations for celebration of Independence Day at District police lines (DPL) Kulangam Handwara.

ADC directed the concerned to keep ready all the necessary arrangements including seating arrangements, Public Address system, uninterrupted power supply, drinking water, Medicare, Ambulance, cleanliness and sanitation and other required arrangements.

Sensitizing officers about their role and responsibilities, the ADC instructed concerned to ensure that all arrangements are made in advance for the celebration of Independence Day.

The ADC asked the R&B department to prepare the stage and make preparations for flag hoisting. He stressed upon officers to put in place all necessary arrangements well in time for the smooth celebrations of Independence Day. It was also given out that the next review shall be held in the first week of August.

ASP Handwara, Principal Degree Handwara, Dy Medical Superintendent, Executive Officer and officers of the Administration attended the meeting.(KNS)
