ADC Budgam imposes fine of Rs 74,000 on errant traders

Budgam 13 january (KNS): Adjudicating Officer, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) BUDGAM, , imposed a fine of Rs 74,000 on various food outlet owners, shopkeepers, traders and wholesale dealers for violating the food safety standards in the district.
 
In a statement issued to news agency-kashmir news service (KNS), The fine was imposed on the erring traders, during the proceeding of cases of various blocks of district District Budgam related to the food safety and standards Act, listed before the adjudicating officer. He also warned them to abide by the legal regulations besides providing qualitative services to the people. 
 
Commissioner of food safety Shaleel ul Ramhan has warned that non compliance of food safety and standards Act and rules thereunder by the food business operators will be dealt more strictly in coming time.(KNS)
