At an impressive function held at Ziyarat-e-Daulatpora, Lar, Ganderbal here on Thursday Bashir Ahmad Bashar’s two latest books “Kulyat-e-Dilgeer” and “Hubab-e-Dil” were released. Organised by J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, the book release function was, among others, attended by Aijaz Ahmad Kakroo, Prof. (Dr.) Mushtaq Ahmad, Abdul Ahad Farhad and writer Sher Khan.
Secretary Academy, Dr. Aziz Hajini was also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Kakroo described Bashar as a very versatile writer and said that his contribution to Kashmiri language and literature was appreciable.

In his speech Bashar extended thanks to the Academy for releasing his latest books, saying that it was because of institutions like Academy that writing culture was witnessing a boost in the State.
Earlier in his welcome remarks, Secretary Academy, Dr. Aziz Hajini said that Bashar was a versatile writer, adding, the Academy would keep on encouraging people like him. He promised to support such initiatives in whatever way it was possible.
As part of the book release function, Abdul Ahad Hajini and Shahbaaz Hakbari read comprehensive reviews highlighting various facets of Bashar’s latest works. Both of them appreciated the effort of the writer in bringing out these books.
