Dukhtaran-e-Millat president Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi Sunday strongly reacted to the statement of a Jamat-e-Islami Hind leader Ajaz Aslam wherein he has suggested a surrender of Kashmiris before India.
In a statement to KNS she said the people of Jammu Kashmir have neither started the freedom movement with the permission or consultation of Indian Muslims “nor do we need any consultation from them now when we have already sacrificed everything including millions of lives.”
The DeM chief expressed shock over Jamat-e-Islami Jammu Kashmir inviting and “providing the platform to people like Ajaz Aslam who speak nonsense.”
“It is shocking to see Jamat e Islami, which has itself nourished the plant of freedom struggle with lot of blood and other sacrifices, inviting and providing space to the people who not only discourage the browbeaten Kashmiris but even suggest a surrender,” she said and added that the statement of Jamat leader is un called for.
“The nation has made a lot of sacrifices and cannot even think of looking backward.”
Terming the Jamat leader’s statement as absurd and condemnable Aasiyeh Andrabi said, “So called Indian scholars and Ulema are, intentionally or unintentionally, busy helping Indians to continue with its oppression and cruelty in Kashmir.”
While referring to Indian scholars and Ulema she said “instead of supporting the just cause of Kashmir and pressing India to leave its forced occupation of Kashmir, it is astonishing to see them discouraging the victims by suggesting a surrender and making them agree to live under India’s slavery.”
Ridiculing the ‘so-called’ Ulema who are in awe of India’s might she said, “People like Ajaz Aslam while trying to threaten us by the military might of India forget that a small no of 313 weaponless Muslims have made an army of thousands to lick dust in the field of Badr”.
Aasiyeh Andrabi noticed that it is not for the first time when Kashmiris are being threatened by India’s might or are being lured by money and so called progress but India has been unsuccessfully busy doing so for about seven decades. “Let India or its stooges not try to threaten us or lure us because our movement is just and above all the worldly things, India has always been trying to threaten or buy us but failed always and will continue to fail in such endeavors even if they engage any big party or leader not to talk of small and insignificant people like Ajaz Aslam,” she said and added that Ajaz doesn’t even qualify to be reacted upon “but sometimes it becomes necessary to put things in record and show a mirror to the people who misunderstand themselves to be something big and poke their nose in big matters.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
Ridiculing Ajaz for having termed Pakistan a failed state and Indian Muslims more educated and progressive, Aasiyeh Andrabi said, “It speaks about Ajaz being naïve and ill-educated. He had not to put any efforts to ascertain the facts but should have simply seen the Sachhar committee report, at least once before claiming Indian Muslims to be progressive and educated.”
“I doubt he knows the meaning of progress and education otherwise he would not make fun of himself by using these words for Indian Muslims who live a miserable life,” she added.
Taking a dig at Ajaz for criticizing condemning Owaisi brothers and Dr Zakir Nayak Dukhtaran e Millat president said, “He finds fault and condemns the speeches of Assadudin Owaisi which he has always been delivering within the moral sphere, asks a world renowned and a learned scholar like Dr Zakir Nayik to rectify his way of preaching but doesn’t find anything wrong in Parveen Togadiya, Sakshi Maharaj and Subramaniyam Swami’s venomous lectures. He doesn’t find anything wrong in Ghar wapsi, burning of Kalima Tayiba carrying flags and other wickedness being done by Hindutu forces.”
“Indian Muslims are such backward that they really take every worse for good or they are such pressed and awed by India that they pose more loyal than the king for their safety,” Aasiyeh Andrabi said and asked Indian Muslims to be up to themselves and “not unnecessarily interfere here and there if they actually have no guts and knowledge.”
At the same time she cautioned those who provide space to people like Ajaz Aslam and asked them not to invite ‘doubtful and ill informed’ people to any programme in the future.
