Kupwara, Dec 07 (KNS): The inhabitants of Aadoora area of Langate Assembly constituency are up in arms against the state administration for failing to provide them Aadhar cards.
The residents have also staged protest against the administration over the delay in providing Aadhar cards to them.
The residents while talking to KNS said that they have completed the formalities a year back but so far the authorities seems reluctant to provide cards to them. “We are waiting from cards from last one year but nothing has been done in this regard,” residents said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
They said that they have approached several higher ups in this regard but all has fallen into deaf ears. “We have been assured by the higher ups every time but they always failed to fulfill the promises made by them,” residents said.
Meanwhile, the residents said that the Tehsildar of the area Monday assured them of redressing their genuine grievances at earliest. “We hope that Tehsildar will fulfill his promise at earliest,” they said. (KNS)
