I will look into the issue: Minister

Srinagar, May 12 (KNS): Hundreds of Aadhar operators in the state face joblessness as they apprehend that the government is mulling to run biometric enrollment through Khidmat Centers Jammu and Kashmir Bank.
The Aadhar operators told KNS that they have been working with different companies for biometric enrollment of the people in the state from many years.
“We are more than 600 youth associated Aadhar enrollment of the people in the state. We were hired by different private firms for biometric enrollment. Now, we want the government to continue our service contract so that we earn our livelihood,” they said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The operators have submitted a representation to the chief minister Mehbooba Mufti for continuing their service contract.
Minister for Technical Education, Youth Services and Sports Imran Raza Ansari told KNS that the government does not have any plan to outsource the Aadhar enrollment to JK Bank.
“We don’t have any such proposal or plan. The Aadhar operators should come to my office with a representation, and then I will look into the issue,” the minister told KNS. (KNS)
