AAC remembers Muhammad Shafi Khan on first anniversary

 
Srinagar, Apr 20:(KNS)  Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee (AAC) has paid rich tributes to the late Muhammad Shafi Khan of Nawab Bazar, Srinagar, on his first anniversary. He was a senior leader of the organisation and a well known social activist. 
 
In a statement to Kashmir New Service (KNS), the AAC on behalf of its leadership, especially the incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, paid rich tributes to Muhammad Shafi Khan for his selfless service to the organisation, movement and society.
 
The organisation remembered late Khan’s selfless sacrifices right from his association with Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Farooq till his last breath and said the way in which Muhammad Shafi Khan played a positive role in carrying forward the cause and mission of the Awami Action Committee with dedication and wholeheartedness is an example in every way.
 
The sincerity, high morals, and unwavering commitment of Muhammad Shafi Khan and his association with the Mirwaiz Family are remembered even today in the organisational ranks.
 
The AAC prayed to Allah Almighty to grant the deceased leader a high position in Jannah.(KNS)
