AAC grieved over demise of several personalities

 Srinagar, July 1: Awami Action Committee (AAC) has expressed grief over the demise of several personalities associated with the organisation, movement and the Mirwaiz Family.


According to a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), a spokesperson said that these personalities include Lal Mohammad Wani, elder brother of leading and active member of the organisation Abdul Qayyum Wani, of Elahi Bagh adjacent, wife of Manzoor Ahmad Hazari of Rajouri Kadal presently Khanyar. 

The statement reads that she was granddaughter of late Abdul Ghaffar Hazari (aka Chacha), a leading founding member of the organisation.

AAC on behalf of the organisation, especially its incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the Wani family, especially Abdul Qayyum Wani, and Hazari family, especially Muhammad Ismail Hazari.

AAC also prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed souls and forbearance to the bereaved family members to bear the irreparable losses. (KNS)
