Srinagar, March 11 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee (AAC) expressed grief over the demise of the spouse of the late Dr Muhammad Muzaffar-ul-Zaman Drabu, resident of Karan Nagar, Srinagar.
In a statement, the AAC on behalf of the organisation and its incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq who continues to be under arbitrary house arrest and as such could not attend the funeral prayers of the deceased ,expressed heartfelt condolence and sympathy with the bereaved family and termed the deceased as a gentle, loving and dignified lady
The Mirwaiz family has close relationship with the Drabu family, the AAC said, adding that the deceased was the aunt of Mr Majid Khalil Drabu who is the brother in law of Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir.
The AAC expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathy with Mr. Majid Drabu, as well as the children of the deceased Dr Najeeb Drabu, Mr Khalid Drabu, and Dr Asif Drabu and prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous for the departed soul.(KNS)
