Srinagar, March 21 (KNS): Jammu & Kashmir Awami Action Committee (AAC) has expressed grief over the demise of the former president of Jamiat Ahle Hadith Moulana Ghulam Rasool Malik and mother of Javed Ahmed Kawa of Alamgari Bazar Srinagar.
In a statement, AAC expressed deep sorrow over the demise of another enthusiastic and active worker of the organisation, Ghulam Mohammad Sofi, son of Ghulam Qadir Sofi of Budhgir Kawdara.
AAC paid rich tribute to the former president of Jamiat Ahle Hadith for his religious contribution and his efforts of forging unity.
It paid homage to late mother of Javed Ahmed Kawa and hailed Ghulam Ahmed Sufi for his selfless sacrifices towards the organisation.
It expressed condolences, sympathy and solidarity with the families of all deceased persons, especially the leaders of Jamiat Ahle Hadith and prayed for peace to all departed souls. (KNS)
