AAC condoles demise of Bahaaudin Zargar

Srinagar, Dec 15:(KNS) Jammu & Kashmir Awami Action Committee (AAC) has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of Jinab Bahaaudin Zargar, resident of Jamia Masjid Srinagar, and the chief of Anjuman Zargaraan Srinagar.

The AAC paid rich tributes to the deceased for his social services through the platform of Anjuman Zargaraan.

The statement to KNS, said that Late Zargar Sahib was not only a prominent trader but was also among the well-wishers of the Mirwaiz Family, the Awami Action Committee and the movement.

The AAC, on behalf of its incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq who continues to be under house arrest since August 5, 2019, expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Zargar Sahib and extended heartfelt condolence and solidarity with the bereaved family members especially his sons Rafiq Ahmad Zargar, Prof Showkat Ahmad Zargar. It also prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the deceased.

The Namaz-e-Janazah (funeral prayers) of Jinab Zargar Sahib was offered inside the premises of Jamia Masjid Srinagar and the Anjuman Auqaf Jamia Masjid General Secretary Haji Altaf Ahmad Bhat and organisation's members comprising Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi, Farooq Ahmad Sodagar and other activists participated in the funeral prayers and last rites of the deceased amid moist eyes.(KNS)
