Srinagar, May 15 (KNS): Senior PDP leader and Spokesperson Rafi Ahmad Mir has expressed shock over the widespread damage to standing crops by the heavy rains and hail-storm in different parts of Pahalgam constituency.
In a statement issued to KNS, Mir said the heavy rains and hail-storm has damaged fruit orchards and other standing crops in Seer Hamdan, Siligam, Khayar and Hapatnar due to hailstorm last night.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Mir visited the affected areas and demanded immediate relief to the affected farmers, he urged the government to depute teams to assess the losses.
He also demanded compensation to the affected farmers and fruit growers. (KNS)
