Langate, August 16 (KNS): At least eight family members including two minors were hospitalized after they consumed Wazwan in Hajin village of Langate in North Kashmir.
Reports reaching to Kashmir News Service (KNS), said that the incident took place on Monday night when several members who attended a wedding complained of vomiting and severe diarrhoea.
Soon after the incident, they were rushed to a nearby health centre Kralgund where they all are being monitored and treated.
The condition of the admitted persons, as per doctors, is said to be stable and out of danger.
Meanwhile senior doctor at Kralgund health center confirmed the incident and said that two minors were referred to SDH Handwara, rest of the patients have been discharged.
However we are verifying the cause behind the incident, we shall file a report in this regard, he added.
