Sopore, Aug 30 (KNS) : Police on Tuesday said they have arrested a 70-year-old man along with charas like substance from his possession in Sopore area of North Kashmir.
An official told the news agency - Kashmir News Service (KNS), that a NAKA was laid at Tujjar area of Sopore by a Police party of Police station Bomai and arrested a man along with 115 grams charas like substance.
The arrested person was identified as Ghulam Muhammad Sheikh @ Mama son of Abdul Gani Sheikh, a resident of Tujjar Shareef Sopore.
In this regard a case FIR No. 42/2022 U/S 8/20 of NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Bomai and further investigation has been taken up, he said.(KNS)
