618 kanals of land retrieved during anti-encroachment drives in Bandipora

Bandipora, Feb 08 (KNS): District Administration Bandipora has initiated a vigorous anti-encroachment drive across the district to retrieve State, Kahcharai and Forest land and has retrieved around 618 kanals of land from the encroachers. 
 
An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that for the purpose, committees of concerned officers and magistrates have been constituted to make the drive success.

He said that the committees headed by Tehsildar Bandipora, Aloosa, Ajas, Hajin, Sumbal, Gurez and Tulial have been retrieved 618 kanal Kahcharie and State land in their respective jurisdictions.

Deputy commissioner Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad said that 618 kanals of land has been retrieved in the anti-encroachment drives across the district. 

Meanwhile, he also appealed to the people to co-operate with the administration as the drive is purely meant for welfare of the general public and safeguarding public resources.
