Bandipora,10 Dec : KNS Forest Protection Force Bandipora have seized 50 -ft timber in the Compartment no 09 at Ashtangoo area of district, Bandipora .

Deputy Director Forest Protection Force Bandipora, Eijaz Ahmad told KNS that on a specific information they have seized illegal 50 feet timber in forest compartment No 09 at Ashtangoo.

“We have started an investigation, though no arrests have been made so far,” he said.

Locals claimed that the higher ups in forest Departmental have failed to act against the erring officers involved in chopping down green trees .KNS
