Srinagar, Dec 20 (KNS): Five months on, the administration has not initiated inquiry into the death of a youth allegedly due to drowning three years ao.
Zahid, a Class 11 student, got missing for three days on 26 August in 2013, after he allegedly got drowned in Jhelum. His body was recovered after three days.
However, his family suspects that Zahid was “murdered” and demanded inquiry into it.
After persistent appeals to the government, District Commissioner Srinagar had in December appointed Assistant Commissioner Revenue Srinagar, Hamidullah Mir as inquiry officer to investigate circumstance and causes that led to Zahid’s death.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

The inquiry officer had called the people to share information with him regarding the death of Zahid has begun to probe the cause of the death

ACR Hamidullah Mir told KNS that he will start the probe very soon into the death of the youth. (KNS)
