4th Day Assessment Camp held at BHSS Handwara for Children with special needs

 Srinagar, Nov 4 (KNS): Inclusive Education Wing of Chief Education Officer Kupwara organised Assessment camp for CWSN for providing free AIDS Appliances in collaboration with ALIMCO KANPUR under Inclusive Education Component of SAMAGRA.


Dr Peerzada Nisar Ah D.H.Handwara, Principal BHSS Handwara Md Rafiq , ZEO Mawar ,ZEPO Langate , District Coordinator Inclusive Education Javid Wani, Special Education teachers, Resource Person's,Zonal Coordinators for Children with special needs from both the Zones,SAMAGRA SHIKSHA team of CEO office kupwara,senior citizens were present during the conduct of assessment camp wherein 167 Children with Special Needs were assessed by Dr Nisar Peerzada and team from ALIMCO KANPUR (Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Coorporation of India) with different types of disabilities viz Locomotive disability, Multiple disabilities, Cerebral palasy, Mentally challenged, Hearing impairment,Blind visually impaired and children with other out of school children with disabilities who have been Identified and enrolled in schools during the Talash Survey carried out under the banner of SAMAGRA SHIKSHA J&K.
 People of Mawar and Langate hailed the efforts of Edu deptt and Samagra Shiksha in particular for their focus on special catagory of children and their betterment, upliftment, equitable social status and education aimed under Inclusive Education Component of SAMAGRA SHIKSHA. 

People thanked CEO kupwara A.H.Fani and his team, Chief Medical Officer Kupwara, Superintendent Dr Nisar for deputation of Medical Officer for being part of assessment camp of CWSN.

Principal BHSS Handwara ,ZEO Mawar and ZEPO Langate, were highly thanked for their coordination, cooperation in making the assessment of Children with special needs assessment camp a successful event. (KNS)
