Srinagar, Nov 07 (KNS): Forest officials on Monday held seven horses with 40 feet illegal timber in Rachan range Peerpanjal division Budgam.
According to KNS correspondent, forest officials were patrolling in the area and held two known illegal timber smugglers in the area including Gh Nabi Mir resident of, Nambu Baranwar Char-e- Sharif and Bashir Ahmad Hajam son of, Gh Ahmad Hajam resident of Nambu Baranwar Char-e- Sharif.
“We are investigating both the accused, till now no FIR has been lunched against them,” said police officials on the condition of anonymity.
Sources told KNS that since new forest officials Pervaz Ahmad Paray has taken over the charges of division; he had seized 140 feet timber, 13 horses and 1 Tata mobile in the division.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel(KNS)
