Kishtwar, May 25(KNS): Four members of a Bakerwal family tragically lost their lives when a tree collapsed onto their temporary tent in the Bahlna forests of Kishtwar district.
An official said that the incident occurred during a night of strong winds and heavy rainfall, around midnight.
The deceased have been identified as Nazir Ahmed (55), his wife Anwar Begum (42), Shama Begum (26) who was married to Shoket Ahmed, and Shakeel Banoo (17). All of them hailed from Kathua district.(KNS).
