Srinagar, Apr 13 (KNS): The train services continued to remain suspended for the fourth consecutive day on Thursday for security reasons following re-poll in 38 polling stations in Budgam district of Srinagar Parliamentary constituency.
Reports however said that some trains operated from 1600 hrs on Srinagar-Anantnag-Qazigund in south Kashmir and Banihal in Jammu region yesterday to clear the passengers, mostly outside workers stranded at Banihal due to cancellation of train service on April 10 and 11 to Srinagar.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The reports added that hundreds of passengers who had reported to the stations returned as they were told the operations of the train have been cancelled for the day.
Pertinently, the service was suspended due to the shutdown called by the separatists on Sunday. (KNS)
