4 Bihar Residents Killed In Awantipora Road Accident

Srinagar, Mar 18 (KNS): Four Bihar residents were killed after a bus they were travelling in turned turtle at Awantipora area of South Kashmir's Pulwama district on Saturday morning, officials said here.


Officials said that the accident took place on the national highway at the Gooripora area of Awantipora, resulting in injuries to several passengers. Soon after the incident, the injured were evacuated to a nearby hospital where four of them succumbed to their injuries.

The officials identified the deceased as Nasrudin Ansari s/o Islam Ansari of Khairawa Tola Pakri Harditerha West Champaran, Bihar - 845451, Raj Karan Das s/o Shivu as Singhari Gobindpur Kishanganj, Khatia Pichhia , Bihar - 855117, Saleem Ali s/o Mohd Alauddin r/o Hakimnagar Chilhapara, Katihar, Telta Bihar - 854317 and Kaisher Alam s/o Sheo Majaqurul R/O Birnagar Sharifnagar Barsoiqhat, Katihar, bihar- 854317.

Meanwhile, a case under relevant sections of laws has been registered and further investigation has been taken up (KNS)
