Srinagar, Jul 01 (KNS): The Srinagar-Jammu highway has continued to consume the lives of people with one more deadly accident taking place on Monday morning, claiming 31 lives and leaving seven others wounded.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar, Angrez Singh told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that 31 persons have died while seven others sustained injuries in an accident that took place in Kishtwar district.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The passenger vehicle bearing registration number JK17- 6787 which was on its way from Keshwan to Kishtwar fell into deep gorge, resulting in death to 31 persons and seven others wounded.
Singh further said that 21 dead bodies are on spot while others are lying at hospital, adding that the postmortem will be conducted once all the bodies will be taken back from hospital. (KNS)
