Srinagar, Jan 11 (KNS): In continuation with different programmes held in 28th Road Safety Week-2017, SSP Traffic City Srinagar Wednesday took out a March Past in a ceremonial dress accompanied by a Pipe Band of J&K Police from Polo Ground South which passed along M.A Road, Regal Chowk, Residency Road and later culminated back at Traffic Police Lines Polo Ground.
According to the statement issued to KNS, the March Past was accompanied by volunteers who were engaged in distributing Traffic awareness related pamphlets to the commuters.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The statement reads that later all the participants were served with refreshment.
“In the afternoon, an interaction session was conducted at SP College, M.A Road Srinagar in which Fayaz Ahmad Lone-KPS, SSP Traffic City Srinagar interacted with the gallery of scholars and academicians and deliberated upon Traffic Scenario in City Srinagar and the remedial measures required to be taken for smooth flow of traffic and public inconvenience,” the official statement reads.
